Saga Shipping A/S was established in 1972 to accommodate the need for a local agent in Skagen, from that moment the company has grown progressively. Since 2002 Saga Shipping has been a member of the WRIST Group, Aalborg, Denmark.

2003 Newbuilding (”Skawlink III”)
2003 Part owner of I/S Skagen Harbourpilots (”Skawlink I”)
2004 Commenced offshore acitivities in Copenhagen with ”Soundlink” (ex. ”Skawlink”)
2005 Takeover the daily administration of ”James”.

Located at the main junctions on the sea routes to and from the Baltic Sea, SAGA Shipping offshore department is able to supply most anything to vessels passing through Danish waters, either at SKAW, KALUNDBORG or COPENHAGEN
Operating a fleet of 7 supply & crew vessels, SAGA Shipping delivers spare parts, stores, provisions and passengers 24/7 – 365
With close to 40 years of experience in the offshore supply service industry, SAGA Shipping has a vast experience in delivering goods and people to vessels both at anchor and while on route.
Due to the variety of vessels in our fleet, we can deliver almost any products to vessels off port limits, whether we are talking stores, spares, provisions, luboil (both packed and in bulk), fresh water or any of the countless other products which we have been entrusted with delivering and landing during the years.
SAGA Shipping also arrange personnel launches for vessels off port limits, for both crew, technicians, inspectors, surveyors and representatives.
Further to dedicated storage areas for provisions, stores and spares, as well as chemicals SAGA Shipping also have separate chilled and reefer storage areas where goods are received, segregated and prepared for sea transportation.

As a ships agent with almost 50 years’ experience servicing vessels both in port and off port limits, SAGA Shipping has vast experience in all aspects of the agency industry.
Our main services includes, but are not limited to:
Customs formalities pertaining to goods being delivered to and goods being received from vessels.
Customs formalities and documents preparation pertaining to goods being discharged and loaded in port.
Crew change including lodging and transportation as well as immigration formalities.
Liaison between vendors, vessel owners, vessel managers, transportation companies.

Further to delivering goods received from owners or their representatives, SAGA Shipping can, due to our long and strong relationship with local suppliers within the industry, also assist by obtaining goods and services at our locations.

Due to our special offshore department in Skagen, Denmark, Saga Shipping has distinguished itself from other Shipping companies.
The offshore department operates the companies supply vessels at following locations: Skaw road, Kalundborg road, Kerteminde road, Copenhagen road and Gothenburg road. With these locations we are capable to offer shipowners, operators, vessels and suppliers the best service disregarding time and place.
